Bank Norwegian: Turning Daily Wins Into a Culture of Motivation

Bank Norwegian replaced manual spreadsheets and monthly KPI meetings with SalesScreen, giving their customer service teams real-time visibility, cross-office competitions, and a daily motivation habit that sticks.

Challenge:

Before SalesScreen, Bank Norwegian's customer service teams had no easy way to track and celebrate their own performance in real time. Agents had to wait for monthly KPI meetings to learn how they were doing and a slow feedback loop left little room for day-to-day motivation. Team leaders like Daniel tried to fill the gap with Excel spreadsheets and homemade games, but the administrative burden was constant.

"The problem was always it's too much administration just to follow up on everything and make it fair for everyone," he recalls.

Keeping competitions consistent and equitable across a growing team, spread across offices in Oslo and Malaga, was a challenge that no makeshift solution could solve.

Outcome:

Since rolling out SalesScreen at the start of 2025 with 180 licenses from day one, Bank Norwegian has steadily built a culture where performance is visible, celebrated, and fun. The TV displays in the Oslo office became an unexpected catalyst - agents naturally stop to check the screens throughout the day, creating a shared sense of momentum.

"I can see from where I'm sitting that many people are stopping up, watching, waiting for the next slide to see how they're doing," says Daniel.

The Missions feature proved particularly valuable for capturing work that lives outside standard integrations. Where data gaps once existed, agents can now log their activities and see a live picture of their day's progress, giving managers visibility they never had before, and giving agents ownership over their own output.

"We can't compare ourselves with just emails or phone calls because we do so much else," says Moa, a customer service agent and team motivator. "....The Missions feature means people are more excited to use the platform even more."

Cross-office competitions have helped bridge the gap between Oslo and Malaga, creating shared moments between colleagues who've never met in person. A Christmas calendar contest, where daily tasks ranged from closing loan targets to uploading festive drawings for the most likes, became one of the team's favorite memories. And small, consistent gestures have replaced the manual effort of team leadership: Daniel now spends around ten minutes reviewing results and sending a GIF or a reaction to acknowledge good work.

"That little touch on your shoulder — you did a good job — is something we never really had before."

The result is a team that logs in daily, tracks its progress with purpose, and increasingly sees SalesScreen not as a nice-to-have, but as a need-to-have.
