“I really love making customers happy and being there for them–and to make sure that they use the product correctly. I’m very excited!'

Oslo, Norway —  Hege brings her curiosity, bubbly personality and customer-forward attitude to the SalesScreen team.

Dave: What is your work education/work background?

Hege: I have a Bachelor degree from BI in tourism and management. Before I started here, I used to work in Nets since 2010. There I have been working in SME -sales, order handling for re-sellers and customer service for LAKA and Resellers. At the very end, I was also helping the invoice team. I have also worked for Thon Hotel Opera as an event manager/coordinator for almost 4 years. I have worked for Saga Solreiser/Ving as a guide in Crete, Greece and Gran Canaria, Spain. While I was studying, I was working as a cashier for Ica Maxi and Coop Mega.

Dave: What are some of your hobbies?

Hege: I love to travel. I prefer going to new places and to warm places like Spain or Greece, but I love all new places. My favorite destinations are the Caribbean, Mexico and USA. I like to cook and bake cakes and cupcakes. I have two kids; Lilly who is 4 years old and Lauritz who is almost 2 years old, so spending time with them is also big part of my life now.

Dave: Why did you choose to work for SalesScreen?

Hege: I used to work with Caroline and she told me so many wonderful things about SalesScreen–how many fantastic people who work here and that the company is growing and entering an exciting new phase. Customer success specialist is made for me. I really love making customers happy and being there for them–and to make sure that they use the product correctly. I’m very excited!

Dave: What are your expectations of working here?

Hege: It’s very high because I have heard some many wonderful things, and everything has exceeded my expectations so far. I expect that it will be educational, fun and hard work.

Dave: What unique qualities or skills do you bring to the table?

Hege: That is a tough question, but hopefully I’ll bring joy and happiness to the company, but also to the customer. I’m very curious person, so I love to learn new things, however I’m not very technical so I often understand what it’s like to be the customer. So, I believe I will build up their confidence and make them feel good and satisfied. Also, I am quite good at putting IKEA things together…

Dave: Have you ever worked for a startup? Are you excited about it?

Hege: No, it’s my first time, so I’m excited. I can’t wait to get started and use my skills.

Dave: Describe your personality.

Hege: My personality is bubbly and easy (I think). I am outgoing and chatty. I always have an opinion, no matter what it is. I’m very curious, so if I don’t know the answer I have to find it. That is probably why I love quizzes and trivia.

Dave: What's your favorite quote?

Hege: I’m not very good with sayings and quotes, but as we say in Norway: I just call a shovel spade for a shovel spade. And also I like: better now than never.
